This is what we did Friday….
Bluebonnets are just a part of every Texans spring. We head out with a tank full of gas and drive the back roads of Texas. These were taken down Hwy 77 almost to Hillsboro. There are fields and fields of them. All Texas children have had their pictures taken in the bluebonnets. Sundance, Butch and Hopalong were so cold. Unlike most Texas springs where the temperature is in the high 70s, the temp was in the 40s with a very cold wind chill. I had already washed and put away the winter clothes and had to get them out again. We usually have an Easter cold snap but this was ridiculous.

What beautiful pictures!! I miss seeing the bluebonnets. My parents went for a “little” drive last week for this very thing and they loved it. There were gone from 7am to about 7pm, just driving all over Texas looking at the blue bonnets.

I really miss our spring outings to see the bluebonnets now that we live in E. Tennessee. Nice pics.
